College Fashion (EXTRA Group GmbH) is committed to making this online shop accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG) and the European standard EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1, Level AA).
This statement applies to the online shop college-fashion.de, operated by EXTRA Group GmbH, Mathes-Deutsch-Weg 24B, 84036 Landshut, Germany.
Compliance status
Based on our self-assessment, this online shop is largely conformant with the requirements stated above. We test the entire website continuously and automatically at several levels: machine testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA), correct semantic heading structure without skipped levels, meaningful accessible names that match the visible text of controls, sufficient colour contrast across all page types, keyboard operability, display at 320 pixels width and 400 % zoom without horizontal scrolling, preservation of content at increased text and line spacing, minimum target size of controls, correct language markup, a content-level comparison of every alternative text against the actual image content, verification of the screen-reader output (accessibility tree), and behaviour-based testing of dynamic flows (including the cart) — across browsers in Chrome, Safari (WebKit) and Firefox. These checks currently reveal no automatically detectable violations of the success criteria stated above.
Beyond the machine testing, we continuously review the quality of the alternative texts on a content level and, for full formal confirmation, are adding an ongoing manual expert and screen-reader review (including NVDA).
Known limitations
The payment process is handled by our service provider Shopify in a separate area. Interactive elements embedded in our pages (e.g. the Memorybook designer and our advisor chat) are ours and are included in our testing. Should individual detail elements not yet be fully conformant, we remedy them on an ongoing basis.
